Lisa Reeves departs SAP Ventures

I've been meaning to blog this but am just getting around to it. My former partner at SAP Ventures and head of the group Lisa Reeves is departing SAP. She will be joining (or actually already has joined) Vista Ventures as a partner. This is a great move. I've always been totally jealous of Lisa's home location Colorado and I don't think you can do better than move on from SAP and join a great firm in your backyard. I had met Kirk from Vista at one of our events while still at SAP and these guys made a great impression and were just super nice. Lisa will be a strong addition to the partnership. I always respected Lisa for letting me do what I saw fit in Europe. She was always there with an open ear when I needed to complain about German bureaucracy and what-not as well as to give fair feedback and advice. Lisa simply knew her way around SAP and the corporate world and she amazed me with her patience for all the crap she had to take. (She'll obviously never admit to this..........she is far too professional and demure to do so......I'm the babbling big mouth!)

Lisa, best of luck in your new endeavours at Vista and think of us in Northern Germany (far, far away from mountains) when enjoying the snow this winter.
